Sadly, we had to have Katie put to sleep on 3rd July, 2012.
She had mammary cancer with two massive tumours and we did not want to put her through radical surgery at her age. Our vet agreed and she is now buried in our garden next to our other cats (and dogs) who have gone before. She was feisty to the end and shouted all the way to the vet (she did not like travelling in the car). She will be much missed by us and particularly by Hawkeye to whom she was a very good companion. Sleep tight Katie.

Katie won six Challenge Certificates and, finally, three Grand Challenge Certificates - not to mention the five Reserve Grand Challenge Certificates between her second and third GC. She did it at the Three Counties Show 2008 which was to be her last one anyway!
Katie was then neutered and living a life of ease
(at least as far as an eight legged Aby could!)

She is our typical eight-legged Aby!
